Quyen Johnson has been living and working in North Texas for more than 20 years, having been adopted at a young age. She attended Era High School and later North Central Texas College for her registered nurse training. Quyen obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. Then she received a Master’s Degree with Honors in Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Woman’s University. Quyen is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and currently practices as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensed in Texas.
Throughout her years as a registered nurse, starting in 2008, Quyen worked in cardiac/telemetry and the Emergency Department at Texoma Medical Center.
After becoming a nurse practitioner in 2013, Quyen worked in neurology, treating patients with complex neurological disorders in collaboration with neurohospitalists at Texoma Medical Center. Since 2015, Quyen has worked in urgent care and primary care in Sherman and Denison.
In addition to primary and urgent care, Quyen has developed a focused interest in hormone health for both men and women. She believes hormone therapy is complex and benefits from being approached through multiple clinical perspectives rather than rigid protocols. To deepen her understanding, she has completed advanced hormone therapy education through several respected programs, including BHRT Training Academy, the Hormonal Health Institute, and WorldLink Medical, as well as additional continuing education in hormone optimization and metabolic health. She has completed all required coursework through WorldLink Medical and is in the final certification assessment phase, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered hormone care and ongoing clinical development.
Throughout her time as a nurse practitioner, Quyen finds fulfillment in making a difference in the lives of those she serves. Her driving force is the satisfaction of watching her patients succeed and thrive. Quyen takes great pride in personalized care and is currently welcoming new patients.
When not working in the clinic, Quyen enjoys caring for her dogs and horses on the family’s farm. In addition, she loves all things related to nature and never misses a chance to explore the world.
